About Me

Welcome to my site, The Joyful Harvest! My name is Tveen Verano and I am a Registered Dietitian with a Masters in Public Health Nutrition. I believe in truly finding joy in everything life offers you. Throughout my life, I have learned that harvesting is the key to finding the joy that God has in store for all of us. The different experiences and situations we go through all add to our “harvest” and lead us down a journey with Jesus that will truly bring us great joy while being a light to others.  Through this blog, I hope to be a light to you all and to harvest all that I have learned through the Lord’s work in my life.

I love my chosen profession and hope that God uses me to show people how to have a healthy and rightful relationship with food, using food for their benefit and not their detriment. God has taken me through an incredible journey filled with joy, sadness, fear, anxiety, and peace, while holding me in the palm of His hand the entire time. I hope to share His love with you and disclose all He has taught me along the way! Thank you!

  1. Hi! I follow you on IG. @shes_going_thedistance
I wasn’t aware you were a dietician. Can I ask where you went to school? I’m interested in going back to school and nutrition and sports nutrition has been something I’ve been increasingly more and more interested in.

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

    1. Hi Sue!! Sorry for the incredibly late reply I went to Cal poly Pomona for undergrad and then Loma Linda University to get my Masters in public health and do the dietetic internship in their combined program to become an RD! They are both great programs enjoyed everything about my education!! And you can definitely go into sports nutrition with an RD!
